No tape necessary After upgrading to LED headlights and adjusting them properly, there was an ugly gap between the headlight bezel and the grille. These trim rings were a snap to install… literally. No tape included like the description says, rather there are 3 plastic tabs that snap in around the headlight. Be aware I needed to rotate the trim cover slightly until it lined up with the sweet spot. Sits flush to grille, and no more ugly gap.

An installation tip…….. Since these come w/out instructions, I’ll give a few pointers. On each bezel there is a molded in “.nick” or depression on each onep. These should be on the 45 degree line towards the bottom/center of the headlight ( sort of pointing down towards the front license plate area, in other words ), and will correspond with a small “nick” or cut in the grille opening for the headlights. In my case three of the for locking tabs engaged easily, the fourth not so much. The solution is to…

Good fit, great appearance, easy installation The black version has a satin, lightly textured surface that blends well with unpainted fenders. I find it makes for a softer and nicer contrast against my firecracker red grill than a gloss black. The rings appear well made, and though plastic, should be quite durable in their protected location.
